Looking to build hands-on experience in insolvency and corporate litigation? Eligibility

Applicants should:

  • Be pursuing their 4th or 5th year of law.
  • Have a genuine interest in insolvency and corporate litigation.
  • Be available for a minimum 6-month internship.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Have the ability to conduct independent legal research.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Role & Responsibilities

Interns will work on:

  • Drafting and research relating to applications before commencement of insolvency proceedings.
  • Researching the rights, duties and interplay between IBC stakeholders, including Resolution Professionals, Committee of Creditors, suspended directors, resolution applicants and creditors.
  • Assisting with interlocutory applications concerning moratorium breaches, non-cooperation by erstwhile management and avoidance transactions under Sections 66 and 213.
  • Reviewing resolution plans and CoC processes and identifying compliance issues.
  • Preparing hearing notes, contention-wise briefs and case summaries for arguing counsel.

Additional Information

The firm provides flexibility around examinations and assignments, including work from home when required.

Interns are expected to maintain professionalism, report on time, recheck their work before sharing it with seniors, and remain curious and willing to learn.
