Eligibility

Candidates should have:

  • A B.A. LL.B. or LL.B. degree.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience handling Civil suits and Commercial Litigation/Arbitration.
  • Experience in matters relating to the road, airport and energy sectors.
  • Experience independently handling arbitration matters or working as part of a team.
  • Understanding of different models, theories and legal principles relating to quantification of claims.

Role & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on:

  • Arbitration matters involving data assimilation, discovery and research.
  • Calculation and quantification of claims.
  • Demand notices and notices invoking arbitration.
  • Drafting statements of claim, statements of defence, counterclaims and other pleadings and applications before Tribunals and Courts.
  • Evidence and argument notes.
  • Petitions challenging arbitral awards and related pleadings.
  • Cross-examinations, including briefing seniors.
  • Case law and technical research.
